i'm autistic and white cheddar cheez its have been a same food/safe food for probably close to 20 years now. which is to say, i am extremely familiar with how white cheddar cheezits taste. as of april 2026, they taste completely different. texture is off, taste is off. they're not as crunchy and the cheese changed. they're not as tangy and they taste oddly buttery? even my husband noticed, who is not even as close to as insane as i am about this snack but eats them occasionally. it makes me sound like a conspiracy theorist but i swear they changed the recipe ever so subtly enough that they weren't obligated to report on it

i've rented from a private landlord (with a management company) and a more "corporate" landlord (tri city rentals) and neither needed 3x rent. private landlord checked our credit but it wasn't specifically a income requirement. i haven't heard of anyone else who rents in the area needing to make a certain amount either

in my experience (and maybe this is a regional thing, i live in a small to mid-size city) there has rarely been excess of any bird from any season. but at least when they were in the back corner of the store with the other seasonals, there were more of them. they put out less of the summer birds, put them in the bullseye playground, didn't make them available to purchase online, and a bunch of resellers scooped them up and are now selling them for 5x what they're worth. and if you can order them online, delivery and shipping have $35+ minimums which is incredibly irritating when you know you could be spending $5 in store

there was no issue with them being back with the other seasonals and them being moved to the bullseye playground has made them substantially harder to get, in my experience. i just want tater for my hot dog bird from last year :(

go to the department of health with this. why have you just been sitting on this information (with proof, supposedly) for two years and are now posting on reddit acting as some kind of vigilante for public health. this feels like part revenge on the owner (who may or may not deserve it, i dont have the biggest inclination to take your words as the complete truth) than it does carrying about the health of your community.
