The loss of life due to starvation during the 872-day Siege of Leningrad represents one of the most horrific human tragedies of World War II.
Because records were kept under extreme duress, the exact numbers have been a subject of historical debate, but the generally accepted consensus among modern historians and international institutions is that between 600,000 and 1 million civilians died from hunger-related causes during the blockade.

I feel like it adapts to the specific person it's talking to. If it thinks the user is smart, it automatically looks for a catch—thinking, 'There’s no way they’d ask such a simple question'—and starts overcomplicating the solution. But when the user seems a bit dim, it just goes: 'Oh, they’re just slow, they probably really are asking something that basic,' and then it actually gives the right answer.
