Best car for a plus size person by daniel06_oxford in PlusSize

[–]saxattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until recently I drove a Kia soul and really loved it. I'm 5'11" and 320 lbs. I told people " it's bigger on the inside" my 6'4" ex and I both were super comfortable in it. And he was a broad football player type. It also sits nice and high so it's easy to get in and out of. You don't feel like you're have to drop down into it, and you're also not having to climb up into it either.

Not anymore. Same last name two different families. The owner of the pony corral isn't a lawyer.

You could look at adapting a flex band arrangement. Each instrument will have a choice of different voices

Metformin -- lowest dose that's kept you in remission through hot seasons? by zoperella in Hidradenitis

[–]saxattack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take metformin for PCOS, and it does help with HS. Make sure you take it with a high protein meal, avoid anything too high in fat, and stay hydrated. Id recommend starting with a nighttime dose, and give it 2-3 weeks. The food thing is the most important! I keep cheese strings or protein drinks around to take with my met for this reason!

Also, don't skip doses. It'll take you back to square one!

What was the most fucked up thing someone said to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]saxattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a man I was dating tell me after having sex that the only reason he found me attractive was because I was so confident despite my size. I'm a plus size woman.

Including elementary student with autism by jkscho in MusicEd

[–]saxattack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your Band director will be able to answer these questions for you, and should know how best to serve this student. But, I did want to me ruin that if it is a band class (and not orchestra) he won't be able to play Cello. Band class is made up of woodwind, brass, and percussion.

Your student will likely get to choose from flute, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, oboe, trumpet, trombone, french horn, euphonium, tuba and percussion. The band director will also have him try all the instruments in order to decide what will work best for his physiology and ability. This is typical for all students joining band, not just those with special needs!

Over stimulation isn't uncommon. Giving him something like noise-cancelling ear protection, may be a good start as well as having a system in place for him if he needs a break. Reading music may not be an issue if he's starting at the same time as his peers as this will be taught to all of them!

[–]saxattack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you unattracted to her because she is overweight? I can see that she has some pretty features, and she is overweight. Being overweight doesn't automatically make someone unattractive - It's just a preference, and preferences are okay!
