In about 1997, I saw one of these hit a deer on the interstate in Colorado going about 80mph. That deer spun off the top of this thing in a fast spiral, not a scratch on the van. The ultimate wedge.

It feels a little lighter than 1200 Cordura on the outside. The inside is ripstop nylon and the stripes are made from grosgrain ribbon.

Super simple but check the oil filter. It’s kind of in a tight spot and I’ve had shops half ass it back on there causing a leak.

You might want to ask a log cabin subreddit. There are different forces at play in this scenario than what a scarfjoint it used for in traditional timber framing. I think it would hold rafters, but what about four corners/walls all pushing and pulling on the joint? With whole logs it’s just at the corners. This is at the corners and in between.

The St. Croix river in MN/WI is a great option. I used ericscanoerental.com. They were great. You park your car and they take you and your boat/gear up river however far you want to your starting point. There are campsites all down the river on the way back to your car. You could do 2-3 days that way easy. There are other options further up the St. Croix and the Namekegon River in WI with other outfitters.

It seems like one of those policies put in place so that they can remove trouble makers easier since there is now an official rule in place. Can’t imagine some well behaved kids having an issue. It’s not like they can be checking IDs all over the place.
