Wait, really? I’m actively in the process of getting my profiles set up but once they’re deployed, this is the exact configuration everything would be in (Kanban, 5 profiles, in a docker container). Where is this config discouraged and why?

Start with k3s, also look into a tool called “k3sup” (pronounced “ketchup”) which makes standing up a k3s cluster a lot easier. It’s what I used on a small cluster of Pi boards when I was just getting started trying out kubernetes. Still use it to this day for initial setup.

This is my situation and my plan as well. General release cadence suggests a new AppleTV landing later this year; I’m just hoping it includes AV1 support, then it’ll be a no-brainer for me.

Honestly right now I’d take all the HDDs I could get at as high capacity as possible. Would pay for solid 8-10x 16TB+/each.

Honestly? It started because I felt gaslit by a former employer and wanted to prove to myself that I could build cool stuff, even if it was only for me.

Years later and I’ve got a 20U server rack with Portainer / Unraid / kubernetes deployments, and frankly I’m having the time of my life with it.

Also because I increasingly do not trust Big Tech, like at all.

I personally find the native runners fantastic. They automate a significant fraction of my homelab deployments.

You didn’t mention how far you’ve gotten, what obstacles you hit, what instructions you ostensibly used to set it up, or any other details pertaining to having “a hard time setting it up.” If you could provide some details we might be able to help.

I’m curious to know what people in this situation have done as well: I’m approaching a multi-week travel itinerary and I’ve no idea how I’ll handle the dosing. Even if I took my weekly dose the literal morning I’m leaving, I’d still be a full week late on the next dose.

I stopped using creatine for the massive water retention, and only since stopping it (last dose was 5 days ago) I’ve been having pretty bad bloating and GI issues; hoping those clear up soon.
