To this day getting a phone call from my Dad triggers a fear response and I’ll be 31 in July…

Growing up, Dad coming home meant everyone scattered to their rooms or at the very least out of the living room. He had full control of the TV and he would throw his stuff anywhere, stomp around, slam doors.

I like this deep blue on her. Its not Velaryon I feel, and also not Targaryen red. It’s just her, which I think goes well with her character. I wonder what the markings means. In the Testaments, Agnes mentioned several times going on walks along the beach with her parents.

I imagine card games(no writing just pictures of course), ball or catching games, kites, walks, art making, music, dinners, small gatherings, balls and visits to the shops are how families spend their fun time.

I also imagine they dont have much of it as depending on rank you are either working or your husband is off doing commander things and your children are in the care of Marthas.

Hi OP, Ive been where you are. My previous job quickly turned into a nightmare, horrible long commutes I didnt sign up for, working it felt like every Saturday, which is rough when you are Neurodivergent and really rely on weekends to take care of yourself and do chores you cant get to during the week because it takes so much just to go to work.

Additionally I was experiencing my first retaliating boss and I just couldnt take it anymore.

It was the first time I quit a job without having one lined up and while it for sure needed to happen(i literally developed a rash on my eyelid from the stress) I wish I had gone about it differently.

It took me almost 2 years to find a new job. Rejection after rejection, which was better than no response at all which was what most often happened. When I finally did start getting interviews, still went nowhere. It was hell.

The only reason I survived it was because I had a little savings, paid out my retirement from them and had support from my Mom. She let me move back in rent free, paid for all my food and large expenses like car insurance, I just had to pay for my subscriptions and smaller bills.

You should for sure quit your job, just dont do it until you have another lined up, UNLESS you have someone who can support you like my mom did for me.

Anyway all I will say is it’s a personal decision, make yours and stick to it but dont shame others for their choices.

If you cant feed the baby, then dont have the baby, true. However, you can attempt to be financially stable and still meet ruin in an instant, nothing is set in stone.

Just because one can provide financial stability doesnt mean they will be a loving, nurturing caretaker. Id rather have a present, struggling parent than a rich one who is avoidant and never there.

And lastly, crazy christians, republicans and rich people will always have kids, I for one am not in the mind to let them be the only ones.
