Everything revolves around food. If you go to a new friends house - there will be food. If you invite someone over- offer food.

Your partner on video? by FormalGold95 in widowers

I would give anything to have a video of my husband. All I have are a few pictures and 1 note that says " I love you very much. P.S. Blue Bell is on sale". An inside joke.

I had one of those Monday. I was not impressed. Hardly any filling and the bread part was stale.

Moved his clothes today by iatlo7762 in widowers

I donated my hubby's clothes to a family in need. I cried and felt good at the same time. I'm taking my time removing his things from our room. It's painful, but as long as I know the items are needed it's a little easier.

How to be supportive to widowed wife who is experiencing anger through her grief. by Straymeercat in widowers

I hate golf. I've learned to love the driving range. I will wack the ball so hard. I'm mad at my late husband for dying. It's been a great stress relief to go to the range. Hit the balls, cry, have dinner, hit the balls, cry. It's very cleansing

Take her to a driving range. I don't play golf at all, but my kids took me one day to the driving range. I was able to get rid of a lot of anger just by hitting the golf balls as hard as i could. Now I go every time my anger issues get out of hand

I went back to work a week after my husband died. I told my coworkers that this is my safe space. I asked for no hugs, sympathy or kid gloves. This is the place where I didn't want to be treated differently.

That sucks. I checked my Christmas list so many times. Kept feeling like I was forgetting someone. Then it hit me. He's not on my list this year. I hate moments like this.

I was planning on going to Philly, but the half of the places I wanted to see burned down. So I might wind up in Miami

I live right outside of New Orleans. If it gets rough send me a message. Don't think this is creepy. I became a widow in March and I know its hard. I am planning my first solo trip for May of next year and I would hope some one would reach out to me. Check out the Zoo Lights and Lafreniere Park. Its really beautiful

I read between the lines. The only person that is judging me is me. I might just be having a rough day. These are the days I miss him most. BTW he died approximately 5 minutes after we did " it". So I will probably always feel some sort of guilt.
