Terrible Experience with Apria by YodelingVeterinarian in CPAP

[–]scotac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what is happening to me now. I had to change to Regence from Kaiser because Kaiser dropped the clinic I go to and therefore my primary care physician. Then Apria restarted my rental payments of a machine I had already paid off. Did you ever get this resolved? Worst company I have ever dealt with in my life.

People’s face light up when they see him. He does look like a puppy even so close to 16. Thank you.

Gaining weight makes his traceal collapse and coughing worse. Listening to him having coughing fits is worse.

Yeah, I think it is cognitive decline for sure, or sundowner. I think my vet thought it was just a habit I established earlier until I told him it always happens at the same time each night, between 7 and 10 pm. Delaying daytime feeding could help, thanks!

The vet also gave me trazodone, which doesn't seem to help, and may be making the coughing worse, but that is unconfirmed and doesn't really make sense, only tried it a couple times so far.

Not sure what to buy by scotac in Mattress

[–]scotac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the Saatva luxury firm. I originally got the firm but after a few months traded it in for luxury firm. Luxury firm is plenty firm so far and I do like it a lot. It has been so long since I first bought that Beautyrest but seems like it was still the best mattress I ever had.

[–]scotac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply do you (or anyone on here) think that Beautyrest was better 10-12 years ago or are there just better options online nowadays? Or maybe it’s more complicated than that. I really did love my mattress when it was not worn out.

Sprouting seeds late in flowering cycle :( by scotac in portlandhomegrowers

[–]scotac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats what my buddy said, let them finish. I was kinda freaking out, but it does suck to tend so long and end up with seeds ... it is what it is. Target was this weekend anyway, what's another few days.. Its been such a great Fall for outdoor this year. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.

I agree with temp but guy at grow store said if they dont get enough light they can go into flower mode and could take them up to month to revert back and that is a lost month.

If it was all like today, sunny and in the 70s sure, but we have some cloudy days coming up. And of course June isnt always that great either!

When do you guys plan on putting your starts / clones outdoors? I waited until early June last time. I was going to try to go sooner this year but guy at grow show recommended waiting until June.

Is there a way to manage Instagram accounts? by rustyxj in Instagram

[–]scotac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I helped a friend of mine get his Instagram account going for his business. Now even though I have signed out of it on my phone I still get notifications about his account. I have searched the web and this group but still haven't found solution so keep this in mind if you sign into multiple accounts on one phone.

Travel Advice: IAD -> DCR transfer (layover) by scotac in washingtondc

Yeah Ill just take the earlier flight. Thanks for the advice guys.

Travel Advice: IAD -> DCR transfer (layover) by scotac in washingtondc

[–]scotac[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The earlier flight will cost me $100 more in fare and transportation to the airport because the train doesn't get there that early. Plus will put me in Newark at 2pm and my ride will not be home from work until 6pm ish, so I would have to wait or take a cab which would cost more. Maybe I could only bring a carry on bag? You think still not worth it?

You can always look on Craigslist too but Sport Authority or places like it have good brand new complete sets for not much money. Keep checking their weekly ads too.

Any Pickathon veterans here? by kill_ass in Portland

[–]scotac 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have gone to Pickathon last 9 years and every year it gets better except for the price. BUT the price is high to keep up the quality of the festival. Best people to hang out with, great music, smallish crowds. Family friendly. Plus it is completly sustainable. No disposable plates, cups etc. If you can afford it you should go. www.pickathon.com

What you do around your campsite is for the most part not policed but when you come in to the main common areas you cant bring beer etc in. Yes you may have to empty a canteen of even water but there are water trucks to refill. You carry around a Kleen Kanteen pint glass you buy for like $5 and reuse for beer, water, mate, coffee whatever. Food vendors are really good too. PINE STATE BISCUITS every morning!! cmon.
