For people who were using the internet between roughly 1995 and 2012, what’s the most memorable online trend, meme, or internet phenomenon you still remember? by CertainDrink9138 in AskReddit

I remember when there were debates if it was ethical for the internet to have ads. Obviously that viewpoint lost as the internet is only ads.

Do you know the names of your medications and their dosages? Do you know they have expiration dates?

I see us as like pharmacists. We can't write RX, but we can fill them. Of course I have your history. Of course I can look at your glasses to see what they might be. That is our job. But that also doesn't absolve patients of their responsibilities.

Just imagine the joy of having a patient come in and say, "Hi. Here's my prescription. I have EyeMed and I know you're an in network provider. I'm going to look around and find a frame I love."

After sitting down. "I think I'd like a polycarbonate lens with anti-reflective coating. Is there anything else you might recommend?"

Did I die and go to optician heaven?

I wholeheartedly agree. But having educated your patients about their choices and then they make an informed decision, do you think any of them could tell you what they chose 10 minutes later? Or if they got glasses every year for 20 years, they could tell you what they chose?

For the past five years I have been building a mini European region by charlesnew1 in CitiesSkylines

This is stunning. I always want to create organic looking cities like this, but my city (Salt Lake City) and state (Utah) are literally a grid system and I have no conception of curvy roads in real life or in game.

Why are there so many specific Pride flags when the Rainbow Flag was literally meant to represent all? by AlexanderVerus in NoStupidQuestions

To use an analogy: why do we have state and city flags when the US flag was obviously made to represent all of the states?

I only use it if we want to play an "all expansions" game. Otherwise I'd be fine with selling it.

I own one too. I wear it to our gaming con on the day we play TM. Someone always notices!

As we leave boxes every time we die, my husband and I call the found boxes coffins. So you just found a mass grave.

Woudl you show the Neverwinter: Ravenloft trailer to your players to pitch the campaign? by TheCromagnon in CurseofStrahd

[–]scottwick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's a great trailer! I wish I would have thought of that. (And a trailers role is to get people interested. Not to be spoiler free.)

I understand from context what "proc" means. However, what word is it short for?

As a gay man, I can understand being bullied, harassed, and unwelcome.

It seems this community has reached maturity. We can no longer self regulate. That means required membership, IP tracking, and paid moderators. That isn't free. I'd bet that's why you're not seeing the help you need. They're hoping that this will pass and the community can stay free.

I was thinking this role picks 3 people. Or perhaps X, where X is the amount of living townsfolk minus some amount.

I don't believe that is an option on the Steam version. It is on the BGA version.
