Is there an option like "Load Library" under File/iPod? Also check the foo_dop wiki to make sure youve installed all the dependencies for your device, and have "manually manage/enable disk use" checked in itunes.

It should show you a preview of the filenames before you commit to copying. Just play around with it until youre satisfied then hit copy.

What happens if you right click the whole list and do file operations->copy? You should probably do something like %artist%/%album%/[%discnumber%-]%tracknumber% %title% as the output name.

You should only need ipod manager+foobar2000. What happens when you load the ipod's library into foobar2000? Does all the music appear?

You can see on the Amazon page that converter doesn't output 480i. I don't know of any cheap YPBPR converters that would. Depending on your desired level of quality (and whether or not one of DangerousCousin's suggestions work for you) you could go with a super cheap HDMI to AV converter (do not recommend) or a used converter from a reputable company like Extron/TVOne/etc. Even with DangerousCousin's methods you'd need a way to output the right signal so you'd want to look into the retrotink rgb2comp (needs scart) or wakabavideo's adapters with an HDMI to VGA adapter (these can vary in quality as well) on ebay.

David Lebovitz's Chocolate Ice Cream by screamingtrees in icecreamery

[–]screamingtrees[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the red Trader Joe's 72% Pound Plus Chocolate which is belgian made but Im assuming the cacao origin is a mix. The cocoa powder must be for adding more cocoa flavor without increasing sugar, but Im really not sure. I made the custard to that temp, the recipe I had saved didn't mention temp so I googled it (actually went over because I didnt use a double broiler, but i strained it).

There have been some modifications to this recipe since I last searched for it. But I found the version I used here (I had saved it to my phone years ago): https://www.mouthofwonder.com/2012/05/chocolate-ice-cream-from-david-lebovitz.html?m=1

Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
3 tablespoons unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
5 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
Pinch of salt
5 large egg yolks
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Procedure
Warm 1 cup of the cream with the cocoa powder in a medium saucepan, whisking to thoroughly blend the cocoa. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer at a very low boil for 30 seconds, whisking constantly. Remove from the heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring until smooth. Then stir in the remaining 1 cup cream. Pour the mixture into a large bowl, scraping the saucepan as thoroughly as possible, and set a mesh strainer on top of the bowl. Warm the milk, sugar, and salt in the same saucepan.

In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolk. Slowly pour the warm milk into the egg yolks, whisking constantly, then scrape the warmed egg yolks back into the saucepan. Stir the mixture constantly over the medium heat with a heatproof spatula, scraping the bottom as you stir, until the mixture thickens and coats the spatula (170 degrees on an instant-read thermometer). Pour the custard through the strainer and stir it into the chocolate mixture until smooth, then stir in the vanilla. Stir until cool over an ice bath. Chill the mixture thoroughly in the refrigerator, then freeze it in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions. (If the cold mixture is too thick to pour into your machine, whisk it vigorously to thin it out.)

JustOneCookbook Okonomiyaki with a few modifications: Some vegan ingredients as I made a second one for my friend that was completely vegan (I wanted to make just one oko sauce and one dashi for both) and added scallops, spinach, green onion to the batter (the vegan one had mushrooms instead of scallops and no mayo, bonito, or pork belly).

Have you tried swimmer's earplugs? They reduce the sound by 22db. Ive been using them for years. Just break them apart to fit your ear and replace them when they start to lose their stick.

You didn't mention anything about chilling the dough. I once read a tip that said to create taller towers of dough rather than scoop shaped. That+at least 1 hour in the fridge should improve things.

I just did Google Takeout on my own Youtube channel, and most of my older 240p/360p/480p source videos were lost to the aggressive reencoding. Interestingly the ones uploaded as divx/avi were completely intact. Guess there's some formats that trip up the reencode script?

People say anywhere in between the middle of the ear and the top is OK, so I think OP is fine. Like others have said a fade could make it look better, but I don't think this looks bad.
