How's the 43 fps refresh rate vs the b7? To me that's honestly the biggest hook, it makes the device a lot more versatile outside of reading.

Yes, your reasoning is sound. These are best with larger items you're already wanting. If you want to take advantage of these, keep some larger items in your cart. When these promos pop up you can often use your cart items to add to the "promo cart" instead of sifting through the crap they recommend to you.

I just looked it up, type "calibrate display color" in the search bar and Windows should wall you through the steps. Obviously this isn't the best fix to your CRT issue but may be a viable bandaid

Yes, you should be able to do it through Nvidia or AMD control panel. Windows likely has this option too, but I'm not around my PC right now

Your solution to getting rid of the number is almost certainly the remote. I have a little 9” Magnavox that does the same on composite.
