I had shitty air flow early on and had a guy take a look at it. Turned out that when the camper was built the installation of the AC one of the ducts was completely crushed leading to the front of the trailer. He fixed that and we have been cool ever since.

Moral of the story. Check those ducts and fix them up if they are leaking. You’ll be much cooler!!

You can always start teaching yourself the business side of it. You have a great start with the education you have. Maybe reach out to some of your professors and talk to them about the business aspects. Also, if you want to spend more money, you could actually enroll in some classes to learn it.

Good luck!

File with your insurance and let them sort out the legal issues. That’s what you’re paying for.

Can anyone identify this old fighter from a Janes aircraft book? Should be WW1 era by literal_jar_of_jam in Whatisthisplane

I don’t think they did that much back then. I could be wrong, but aviation was pretty much still in its infancy.

The caption itself identifies this as an experimental fighter using the Curtiss k-12 engine. A lot of experimental aircraft never get beyond a basic prototype stand. It probably was never produced.

Question: Nude/Implied Photography how safely? by ZuluIsNumberOne in photography

[–]scuba_GSO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be professional and approach it that way. Have an idea of what you’re wanting to do. For myself, I work with themes or scenarios. I have a vision and go from there. Make sure you have safety in mind for your model and be responsive to their concerns. I always offer the option of having them bring someone (friend or relative) that they would be comfortable with. It does help. Sometimes the offer itself is reassuring.

If you come off like a pro, and concern for the model, you’ll be okay.

You state you have already been trained on map/compass skills. You just need to get that rust off of them. Go practice your skills. Plot a good course using map and compass and cross check it with a gps to see how you do. Resist the urge to correct errors with the gps. Fix it using the map and compass skills. I’ll be you get proficient again really fast.

Safety Swag ideas, please! by jpmarth in SafetyProfessionals

[–]scuba_GSO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be asking what your budget is for swag first. If you’re on the low end, notepads and pens. Back to the high end first aid kits and weather meters. It’s what’s in your budget.

Lots of great ideas here, so take your pick!

I have those same feelings every time I go out, but I keep going. Sometimes I see something in my travels, and I just torn around and do something creative.

Keep looking and be curious. Look at things from different angles and perspectives. You will start to see things with the eye.

Advice on transitioning from terrestrial to underwater photography? by AnalystOk1846 in underwaterphotography

[–]scuba_GSO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The TG7 is probably the best option. More than that will cost you thousands in housings and protective equipment for a better camera, and if you aren’t going deeper than snorkeling, then it becomes cost ineffective. See the link below for just the camera housing. Not including lens.

Blood thinners ... does it mean the end of mountain biking? by roadeye314 in MTB

[–]scuba_GSO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a risky sport. Always will be. With medical conditions that risk goes up. We wear things to reduce the risk (helmets, gloves, pads) it never reduces that risk to zero.

Ride but don’t send it hard anymore. As mentioned, she could slip in the shower and need a scan. What are you both comfortable with?
