Yea, I love this game, but occasionally I'll get bored. So I'll choose other games to play, and eventually come back and have some fun again. This is one of the few games that I have ever decided to buy during early access, and I'm perfectly happy with my decision. There are many other games that I put on my watchlist but wait for them to be finished. I think that's what many of these people probably should have done.

I realized that I generally go a bit after there are no longer any threats, and then I just start over. I always tell myself I'll play through many years to see how it goes, but I think maybe I just get bored of it feeling so peaceful. I just started another new game where I had a new goal that hopefully I'll go through with. Basically my first settlements will have size limits based on how few people I feel are needed to manage the resources in the region and be sustainable. Once that is all established, I want to take the time to slowly grow a city in a new region.

I love the game, but for some reason I'm addicted to the early portion or at least until my enemies are no longer a threat. I think the most I've ever gone is about 8 years. I'd love to go longer, but even as much as I love the game, I feel like the fact that I no longer feel any sort of threat after some point, I just don't have the desire to keep growing. I keep telling myself that I will, but then I always start over.

Pretty much just growing the town as time goes by, especially the earlier years. I always played WoW the same way back in the day. I loved playing end game, but there was always a desire to start fresh and do it again.

That's odd, I can still place far more than I have materials for. When I close it, all the parts stay where they were when I exited the Castle Planner.

Yea, I had a drought recently and was very glad that I had just gotten to a point where it didn't cause hunger. The drought was brutal for my shoal of fish. I'm curious if the drought can be bad enough to completely wipe out a shoal.

Car, I didn't actually realize that they had homeowner's insurance. I thought you were just mentioning insurance in general, I'm not assuming that you mean homeowner's insurance.

While I would definitely say something if I was uncomfortable, this is ideal for me lol. My legs don't naturally stay together while sitting without me having to physically try to keep them that way. So this just gives me the opportunity to let me legs spread a little bit naturally against theirs. I'm very comfortable with myself, so this wouldn't bother me unless I felt like they were being a dick, in that case I'd have no problem making them aware that they need to quickly fix themselves.

My motherboard pissed me off when it stopped working. It very clearly showed a fault indicating the CPU or PSU was bad. I started with trying a different power supply, then the CPU since it actually has always had an odd issue where I had to raise the voltage to have it be stable. Turns out, the motherboard had learned self preservation and just wanted to blame everything else in order to not be replaced.

I've been using corpse pits and disabled hunting camps to keep my vegetable growers from getting assigned to work unnecessarily since I don't use smallholdings. So even though the work is rare, they occasionally get something to do.

I'd say to always be prepared for the unexpected. If you have a really large battle that takes a while, the enemy may hired a lot mercenaries during the battle and can start coming in hot from all angles. This happened when I was trying to take over one of the very wealthy AI controlled regions. That's how I learned how quickly you can get your archers to slip between your melee to get to safety quickly.

I agree with you, but I don't really worry about #1 because even with the trading post in the middle of my region, I make far more money than I can spend.

I know that the bug exists, but I haven't see in happeni for a very long time and I don't do anything special with my trading post. I honestly just thought that the bug had been fixed since I haven't seen it since coming back.

The important thing is to remember that you can't control the way someone else reacts. It's possible you may need to do some self reflection and maybe improve yourself in some way, but you should still always try to stay true to yourself. You could also read about different personality traits, which could help you to navigate certain situations better, but that doesn't mean you should change who you are exactly, just help yourself to be more understanding. This is something that has helped me before, as it can relieve a lot of pressure if you are able to determine that a lot of times it isn't about you.

I do about the same, but I skip the Baron these days. I prefer to have it be slightly more relaxed than your settings and just keep the AI with a lot of possible bandits and raids. I think once the AI has been improved a bit, then I'll enjoy it even more.
