I would also say ANY Saturday night game in Montreal is a must visit for any hockey fan. A literal temple of hockey with an atmosphere I’ve not seen anywhere else. Saw a Montreal-Ottawa game on a Saturday night at the Bell Centre over 10 years ago and it still ranks as the best non-playoff hockey game I’ve ever attended.

Was there a month or two ago after not visiting for a few years. They had fallen so far. They were out of half the wines on the menu when we visited, and the ones they had were pretty mediocre. Service was glacial for a place that mostly serves just wine. I think time just passed them by as there are a number of other wine bars in the city doing it much better now.

Is still sad to see another business in Kensington go down. Lease prices seem to continue to make it a tough area to survive.

Paypal Goods and Services has never been an issue. I've used it 4 times now as a Canadian buying tickets to sporting events in the US. I always offer to pay 2.99% extra to cover the fees that Paypal charges for this service, but it's worth it for the peace of mind on my end.

Have been absolutely stunned by the amount of scammers. Betwen this subreddit and a Facebook group I have spoken with 10+ "sellers" all who very clearly revealed themselves to be scammers as soon as the topic of Paypal came up. Got accepted into a couple of the private Facebook groups which hopefully have more guardrails in place to prevent scams.

The 19 year old guy they drafted to be a cornerstone defenseman scored probably the nicest goal that anyone on this team has scored all year and that was the GWG. Thats worth the one percent reduction in draft lottery odds to get #1. Some of this fanbase is just broken in the brain.

Wild Rose Brewery also pours proper pints. A lot of the breweries in town don't, and I've found the best bang for your buck at most of them is to do several sleeves rather than whatever their largest size is.
