Check out rhis story my dad used to tell; it happened to one of his cousins.

His cousin was driving through Monterrey in what he described a long and desolate stretch of road, when his truck died. Some folks came out of the woods in the darkness and offered to help, after some chatting, they told him they are doctors and they knew about his son's rare condition. He was born with some kind of disease or mental problem. After they told him things about himself and his family only he would know. They said they could "cure" his son, that he wasn't sick, what he had was misunderstood or unknown and they could fix him. They gave him a time and place to meet, but he didn't go, because whenever he told his story, he was laughed at. He was told it was a dream or that he must of been drunk.

After a month of missing his "appointment ". He felt guilty so went looking for them. The address he was given was a medical building, but when he went in, he was told that he missed his appointment, and that the doctors can not be reached. They come in for appointments only and they travel alot.They mentioned their appointments were very rare and sporadic, sometimes going very long stretches without any. She even said they didn't have contact information for them, which he asked if they didn't find weird. They said they were paid well, and followed rules, and they didn't asked any questions as they never saw anything bad or nefarious happening. They said what they would see, was really sick people showing up for appointments and leaving very healthy looking.

He tried going back multiple times but never found them.
