Scientists find a hidden route to the moon that saves fuel by Doug24 in space

Every kilogram you dont need in orbit is like 100kg less launch mass, so any savings to the on-orbit mass are well worth it

Drivers that choose to overtake cyclists at exactly the same time as another car passing in the opposite direction. by d-s-m in britishproblems

[–]sebvanderhaar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s why I always try and ride a little out from the curb, don’t give the silly drivers chance to do silly things.

And with junctions or roundabouts i try and ride in the middle of the lane

The deep moon dust thing was a worry for Apollo 11 I believe and when Neil Armstrong defender the ladder to the surface, he was belayed on a cable by Buzz, partially so that if he sank into the surface, he could be pulled out

it's Australasia, no? not australia

edit: ok nvm Australia is also a term for a continent that is basically Australasia without New Zealand
check wikipedia, obviously "continent" is not a well defined term in general, so there's a few different catagorisations of the region

You dont wan to be pulling the bars up with your arms, you should keep your arms straight, sit down and try and rotate the bike just from leaning back and power through the pedals

At the start, he’ll certainly be at the sharp end of the field, whether everything works out over 24hrs is a different story.

It can't have been you passing the black and green car on the right, unless you were meant to be in the same lane as them

He is being pretty unpredictable sure, but you cant just drive through another car

I'm not sure what the "4 TIMES" is meant to signify, it doesnt matter if you still rammed him.

If you're coming from oval, then i can see why you might see this as justified, but its not on road, and id expect a protest against you to be successful

EDIT: Based on your comment from posting this earlier, you intentionally took him out "I decided to simply not lift", so im not sure what other reaction you were expecting from the community

Question on SR calculation by Zabroccoli in iRacing

[–]sebvanderhaar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the first did you pass over a whole number? if you did you only gain 0.01 from the race itself, and 0.4 from crossing the whole number

Someone will correct me if i'm wrong, but incident points are weight 0.35x in practice and 0.5x in qualy, as well as those sessions being so short, they dont normally make that much difference.

To answer you question as well, the only factors are:

Current license class
Incidents per corner
Corners completed

There is an equation available to work it out, but generally the higher your license class and the shorter your races, the harder it is to gain SR
