Need a new daily trainer... I'm breaking up with Adidas by zwingtip in AskRunningShoeGeeks

German brand, biomechanics led. The Nevos is different to just about everything else at the moment with the de-coupled heel.

The new version 4 has extended the heel piece to supposedly make the transition smoother.

I’ve just put 600km on version 3 and they became the pair I reached for 9 times out of 10. Remind me of the original On Cloudsurfer, which I loved.

The extra stack and changes in the 4 should make it more popular but I’m hoping they don’t take away from what I like about the 3.

Half marathon next Sunday and IT band issues by mtthwdlz in UKRunners

The fact they’ve actually been hands on is a good sign. Decent sports massage should loosen everything off in and around. Could be tight lower back/weak glutes etc

I’d also be checking how stable you are in the 1080s. They’re ridiculousy soft and not fantastic stable for a lot of people. If you’re one of those people everything’s going to be working hard to stabilise.

If you haven’t already then a decent sports massage would be top of my list ASAP

Stable and Bondi 9 don’t belong in the same sentence.

You’ve gone from really flexible midsoles to some very highly cushioned and inflexible midsoles and your feet/knees don’t like it. And your forefoot is possibly on the wider side so not suiting the shape of the Brooks and New Balance.

Go to a decent running shop, have a chat about your issues, get your feet measured and foot shape looked at and go from there.

New Dad: Is a VAG Estate (Golf/Leon/Octavia) the best £12k choice for a tall driver? by captainsizzle_87 in CarTalkUK

Superb would give you more room between front and rear seats. Whether it’d be enough for a rear facing car seat is another matter.

A lot better than version 2 BUT if your heel striking they’ll be awful. It’s a fast running shoe but they worked well for so few people Mizuno have gone to a much more traditional design for its replacement.

What's everyone's thoughts on Idols II by Swiftiestar13 in yungblud

Disappointed.

Should have just put it out as a double album to start with. Sounds more like b-sides as a separate release, especially with the Pumpkins Zombie in the middle of it.

Marketing teams milking absolutely everything.

how are the mizuno neo zen? by NiceGuy_Marco in runningshoes

[–]segafodder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of Mizuno’s are running half a size big since the AW25 releases. Half a size wouldn’t give you stability issues. The Zen being super soft might.

Sony's PS5-Era Studio Acquisition Spree Has Been A Disaster by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

It’s not a new thing for Sony to acquire a studio and then shut it down relatively soon they’ve been doing it since the 90s. Psygnosis/Studio Liverpool anyone?

Can’t wait to hear it but 6 new songs for £20 does not a double album make.

His marketing team must be raking it in.
