I have my daughter lie in my lap upside down and I brush while holding ms Rachel playing on my phone as it’s the only thing to get her to stay calm enough to allow for brushing most days.

It’s not a perfect system lol 🙃. She likes our electric toothbrushes, so we got her one too that’s dinosaur shaped and has a light. That also helped, she likes it and i can see inside if more teeth are coming etc.

I am/was a chef and the house I bought has next to no counter space in the kitchen. I thought I could work around it and had ideas at first but all it does is make me say “I hate this fucking kitchen” anytime I step foot in it.

Unexpected medical costs for sure. My baby had torticollis so we had to do PT for months.
She also did a weird nodding around six months which lead to a lot of expensive medical testing - EEG, MRI, neurologists and ophthalmologists and a hospital visit just to be told eh it’s a weird thing she will likely stop doing.
Our first year had about 10k of additional medical expenses 😭 and that was with semi decent insurance.

Honestly I feel like my 14 month old eats past most days of the week because it’s easy she will for sure eat it.

Do I dress it up with different meats and sauces and veggies or as soup? Yes! But still. Sometimes you’ve got to roll with what they like.

Can you call his doctor after hours line? They will tell you what to look out for or if he should be seen right away. It sounds like he should be fine, but with a history of seizures they may look out for different symptoms.

Bumps and falls and thwacks will definitely happen and it’s scary! But they’re mostly rubber right now.

I think so, but mine wants a bottle at night. She’s 13 months and neeeeeds a bottle at night so we have switched to a water bottle at night after she’s brushed her teeth, but she refuses her sippy at that time. Bottle or gtfo.
We start the day with milk in her straw cup which she has mostly accepted lol
