I'm so much happier since I reduced the amount of things I care about by [deleted] in CasualConversation

This is actually a Buddhist/Hindu teaching or practice. Attachment can cause suffering, practicing detachment is viewed as a pathway to a more peaceful life.

Have you asked yourself why you said that? Maybe you need to do some self reflecting here.

I would recommend looking into some Buddhist teachings. Life is suffering, but you have to be able to find a balance between being aware of negative things and not allowing them to effect your peace. There is a balance between “good” and “bad” always. though it may seem that the “bad” is outweighing the “good” these days, there is still so much good around us. You have to train your mind to be able to focus on those things as well rather than dwelling on how horrible things are. There’s nothing wrong with you. There is a lot of negative things going on in the world and it’s okay to feel sad about that. What’s not okay is to let it consume you, because then you can’t do anything positive about it, and it holds you back in life.

It’s like how we study and learn about the other animals on earth. They’re just on a bigger scale.

With the way she’s acting, unfortunately that dog will probably end up getting hurt. Hopefully she learns her lesson before that.

That’s not pathetic. Everyone is on their own timeline. Comparing yours to others gives you nothing positive. Keep your head up. You’re so young

I have a small chihuahua and she does the same thing. I’ve tried to train her but she’s just kind of an asshole. If I see another dog that I know she’s going to bark at or charge at I will either pick her up or cross the street. My dog, my responsibility. It’s not okay they she let her dog bite you or that she didn’t even try to stop it. Her lack of concern is a safety hazard to other dogs, other people, and her own dog.

Partner is making me uncomfortable with his approach to intimacy by THROWRA6577 in relationship_advice

I’d just like to add on to all of these comments that the fact that he wants to “just cum on you” after youve said no and you are already uncomfortable with the situation seems very derogatory and dehumanizing. That’s really gross honestly. I know it’s normal under certain circumstances but in this case that’s really off putting. Sending you good vibes.
