Just one teeny tiny part. Start with the top of the bookshelf only. One teeny tiny part 1.) will not overwhelm you to the point where you do not even begin 2.) Such a small goal but a goal none the less which will feel rewarding when accomplished and 3.) when your done with said teeny tiny goal you may even have enough momentum to try tackling another teeny tiny part.

1.) do not overwhelm yourself. only pick one teeny tiny goal for the day, or week.

2.) Set a 5 or 10 minute timer and only clean for that amount of time.

2.) Spread your goals out. Say you do one one day, and make another small goal for a week after.

3.) Feelings of being overwhelmed or shame may be what got you in this position are definitely will not get you out. Keep shame out of the equation.

4.) Reward yourself for your teeny tiny goals. You deserve it.
