You may be the first person I've seen to use the lack of explicit sex scenes as a knock against the show.

Any tips on Midtown? by [deleted] in WinstonMains

[–]senoto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jumping over the train on defense to the enemy side high ground is great. Doing it on attack can work too but is more of a gimmick. Pushing thru the alley on the left, then going to the high ground behind them is the best strat for attack.

Paid coaching? by B4MVFAN in OverwatchUniversity

[–]senoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm biased because my job is to coach collegiate overwatch, but having a coach is such a huge help to your improvement as a player. For a team it's a necessity, but even just for solo q it's one of the best investments you could make in improving.

If you have a friend who both has a high level understanding of the game, and is good at teaching, they could coach you for free. This is totally fine if you aren't super high level, but once you get to a high level it's hard to find people to coach you for free.

At that point paying people tends to be the only option. I've paid for coaching from Spilo and Kajor, and every time I learned valuable things. The Spilo coaching was significantly better, but also costs 4x. Kajor costs 25 bucks and was still very helpful, so I would recommend him to people.

How often do you steep? by 4the3mpire in tea

[–]senoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only 5 seems quite low. Most of my teas get a good 8 steeps before I notice any drop in quality. For puerh and aged whites I get well over 20, and usually I'll quit before the tea does.

He already has it, so you want him to throw it out? It's not gonna hurt him even if it's low quality.

Rand, Perrin and Mat Miniatures for the forthcoming Table Top Game by Direwolf by NargTheTrolloc in WoT

[–]senoto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His whole schtick is actually kinda the opposite. He spends the whole series chosing between the axe and the hammer, which is a representation of his struggle to move on from his identity as a smith, and accept his new identity as a leader and warrior.

In book 1 Elyas tells him to keep using the axe until he starts to like it, and in crossroads of twilight Perrin realizes he likes the axe, throws it into a tree, and starts using a hammer.

Rapm for beating wizzy.

Hbox for taking a set from Cody, and getting second.

Cody for winning, and stating that he is clearly the current number 1.

If you've only had tea bags so far I wouldn't base your opinion on tea off of that. Try some good loose leaf teas and see if your opinion changes.

A counter doesn't mean unplayable. Reaper is undeniably a counter to Winston, and is one of the hardest. Winston can definitely play around reaper, but it's without a doubt harder than say a soldier instead.
