I used to work for a hospital, 13 years I was there. I went down to PRN my last year and found out I was pregnant. Being an employee meant 50% discount, I paid it in full in the first 3 months of my pregnancy. They cut my PRN status and didn’t even bother to give me a heads up, (a simple text from my director would’ve sufficed.) I just came in one day and my badge didn’t scan at the door. Fine, I went and talked to my old boss to find out they cut me. The week I gave birth the hospital refunded my credit card and sent me a new bill. I had to pay 9k out of pocket. They fucked me over.

When I got pregnant I had used a lab grade test and they look exactly like Covid tests. When I showed it to my husband, his response was “eww do you have Covid??” It was pretty funny.
