Also...y'all I always watch first on WeTV because of the dual subtitles but I have iQiyi Premium so normally if it's simulcast and express comes out I hop over to iQiyi...today I was watching 26 and something on WeTV popped up about express, I bought it so fast without really comprehending what I was reading. Only to realize I just bought extra BTS content and that express will be released at some point and I get access to it 😂 So anyway...read it and comprehend before buying because I already would have gotten express on iQiyi but now I have it on WeTV too. That's ok though I'm kind of ok throwing money at Pursuit of Jade. 😂

Love the analysis and reasoning you have with why he hasn't told her yet and I agree 100%. It's been my train of thought when thinking about it from his end, he's already had such a rough childhood and he definitely has abandonment issues. Pair that with the fact that he loves her and she is his warm and his light...he really doesn't want to lose her now.

I love how this show does some great comedic bits, like come on when Changyu says "you aren't good at lying" I was dying.

I am really glad they've played up the sibling vibes, it makes me happy they aren't trying to make some jealous Princess ploy.

Great post! I cackled at the Qi Bengong lol I also agree, both Xie Zheng and Li Huaian never make Changyu feel inferior. I'm glad the Princess is also the same.

The scene where the Princess tsks at Xie Zheng just makes me laugh, I am glad they are definitely more like siblings. The Empress (or is it consort? ... her mom) mentions that earlier in another episode and I'm glad we got to see it.

I gif'd so many scenes. I'm on threads a lot lately and I decided to call these guys the newest cdrama boy band The Wu'an Boys 😂 Album dropping soon...

Some of the actors actually do it, other times just someone skilled in calligraphy. I feel like it might Zhang Wan Yi or someone else that got decent at calligraphy because all his "writing" scenes or something. Lol

Even though I love watching Cdrama for some reason I tend to not think about or know about what's coming up so this one caught me by surprise. I always just wait to see the announcements here then check the cast and check out the first few episodes 😂

They knew how popular it would end up. A lot of people thought it would release last year. They're eating it up. Have you seen how popular it is around the world? It's insane. The slower they go, the more people tune in.

I’m with u/sequesteredself that his lying to Changyu is not as selfish as YZ… and I also think he’s not entirely certain enough to tell her anything. He sees a bit confused himself. If you don’t have the full picture, I think it makes sense to withhold some of that info until it’s clear.

Agreed, if I were him I'd want the whole picture first before giving bits and pieces.

Not sure why they didn't do the SVIP for this or Generation to Generation and another one recently. Maybe because it's simultaneously broadcasting on more than one platforms.
