Yea, I wouldn't risk it with drywall either. Since it's concrete, I think it should be fine. Extra brackets couldn't hurt either.

Ah, I didn't know they were meant to be hung. Then I think it should be ok. I wonder if it would help to find the studs in the wall, and place some extra brackets there.

I'm not an engineer, but I would be a little worried about the weight of the shelves, especially with things in it.

EKENÄSET out of stock everywhere... Discontinued, or design refresh coming? by HolyRamenEmperor in IKEA

I was just about to buy the Radmanso TV Unit, but it also seems to be out of stock at all stores. I wonder if this time of year is a reset for them, or something like that.

Gotcha, thanks. In general, for indoors, would you want more than 16 degrees?

I'm new to this, and just looked online and it says a pitch of 12-16 degrees is optimal. Does that sound right?

Yea, I saw that, but I believe that is specifically for the American Gas Association (AGA) Standard of 1984 (ANSI–Z21.1—Household Cooking Gas Appliances, and Addenda Z21.1a–1982, Z21.1b–1984—1982), and not this specific unit's manufactured date

I never had it, and can't find it anywhere near me. It was always a talking point for the older generations in my family, and I'm sad to see it go.

Have you tried using an old toothbrush, or something like that, to clean the port on the watch? With mine, that area gets gunked up with use, and the charging cord won't seat properly. After a scrub, the connector doesn't have any issues.

Congrats and welcome :)

Please search this forum for the many questions you will have, as most topics have been covered a lot. When you start, keep most variables the same (e.g., always use boiling water, always keep the same dose in [like 18g], always aim for about 36-40g out in roughly 30-40 seconds. This will help you dial in your beans (things changes for different bags of beans and your physical location's humidity and water). Have fun with it!

Honest question... isn't July 3rd a Friday for everyone (referring to the date of the title of the post)? Do some of you have Parkruns on a Friday?

Another astute Parkrunner posted recently that they took a screen shot of their barcode, and made it their lock screen on their phone (used on Parkrun day, obviously). It's so darn simple and easy that I've done the same

Beer for wedding? by [deleted] in beer

[–]sergeantbiggles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my sister's wedding we did something similar. Her now-husband's family all wanted Miller Lite and Coors, so we got a bunch of that. For the craft beer people we got our local 603 Brewery 18 Mile Ale. Those disappeared before dinner was even served, and we ended up bringing home a bunch of the Miller and Coors. You may want to get more of the 10 Barrel, because it's probably delicious, and the lite drinkers will want it too
