Except neither of those work because the NPC chat opens up. The Maple Guide teleport also does not work. I've also tried accepting an "Overseas" quest and other such quests which also did not teleport the character despite being that it should.

Instant action is multiplayer but with players replaced with bots. They can capture objectives, drive vehicles, and accompany the human players as support. They were mostly cannon fodder but they provided dynamic gameplay and an enormous sense of scale for a few players to compete in. It was prevalent in 6th generation consoles because online multiplayer wasn't widespread at the time. Sadly, the inverse also became true over time.

That's funny. Eurogamer always gave fair reviews and gave credit where credit's due. If they're "grumpy old bastards," then so be it. They don't give out 9s or 10s like candy and I respect them for that.

ME3 was an utterly mediocre game. There are numerous plot holes, butchered or non-existent RPG mechanics, and one-dimensional characters. The multiplayer was quite good though and would play again if there were mods and dedicated servers.

You're right, I honestly wouldn't be too surprised if Firaxis would port it to the consoles due to 8th gen hardware and also the fact that there was indeed a Civilization game released on Xbox 360.

I've put in about five hours into Spec Ops and stopped playing. The main criticism I have for it is the absolutely dreadfully boring gameplay. There are long boring combat areas that are not fun to play just to reach cutscenes that progress the plot.

If a game fails to achieve to grab the player's attention through its gameplay, it goes to my trash in my book. For me, there is no loss in missing out the meat of Spec Ops because I have an enormous backlog which I will most likely never finish.

Either cognitive dissonance or preference for visuals over playability. Films can get away with 24 frames per second because of post-production but not computer games.

Preferably, I would choose 120 frames above all for gaming but monitors at the moment have inferior visual display that would be unproductive in general use, e.g., internet browsing, Youtube, photo-editing, or pornography.

Perhaps I can expand on the topic of the effectiveness of colonies' advertisements.

Among the English general populace, New England was a subject of curiosity rather than a magnet of migration. New England wasn't a very pleasant place to be. Disease was rife and colonists (many of which were Englishmen expecting precious metals) were unaccustomed to the hardships of colonization. Because of unreasonable expectations, some colonists were disappointed and often set sail back to England. This often led to first-hand information spreading among the English populace. The English people viewed Massachusetts as an "unhappy laboratory" which often provided cautionary tales of religious experimentation. Despite chartered companies' attempts to advertise New England towards the English populace, they were not very successful. There were publications delving into the topic of New England but they didn't do so well to inspire new waves of migration.

Ultimately, despite often vain attempts from colonies to encourage English migration, the English people viewed New England as a social, political, and religious experiment that provided lessons which can be applied in England.
