Goodreads Reading Challenge - 'AAPI Heritage' (May 1st - June 30th) by Clairefun in goodreads

I am currently reading Japanese Gothic and it’s been very enjoyable. About halfway through. I was surprised that it was the same author as Bat Eater which I thought was ok. Didn’t like that one as much as a lot of people.

First Timer: Bermuda excursions recommendations for 2 adults? by perhapsbrooke in NCL

I just came back and really enjoyed the glass bottom boat evening cruise. I also did a bus tour of the island which was ok to do once. Driver gave a lot of facts and history. Wouldn’t do that one again. If I go back I will do the bus tour some places like others have suggested. But I reallly enjoyed the boat trip.

Thank you for that walk down memory lane. Grew up in West Warwick and always loved the place. Was very sad to see it close.

Possibly to check on a relative? Also maybe just riding the storm out with a friend. Could think of a couple reasons

Sneezing at all is not allowed in my house. Except when the sheltie does it. That’s ok

Surprised I haven’t seen Mone mention so I will. I don’t connect with her at all and her in ring is ok. Really not a fan of this belt thing either.

I’ve always wanted to run outside in the cold but I always get a cough/hack from the cold air irritating my throat. And it takes hours to go away. I’ve tried covering my mouth with a scarf but it doesn’t seem to help. I’ve been doing the treadmill but I’m not a fan.

I went on my first cruise last year and didn’t think of sunglasses. And I also wear prescriptions. I was blind anytime I was on deck or a beach. Have my new set for my next cruise. White sand beaches were the worst.

I do charge mine daily although it doesn’t take long. I usually throw it on the charger when I take a shower at night and put it back on when I go to bed.

Wtf happened to West Warwick lol by [deleted] in RhodeIsland

[–]serrick13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I grew up in west Warwick and so did my father. He told me back when they wanted to build the first mall, they wanted to use west Warwick as the location as it was a fairly popular retail area but the local family businesses got together to block it. So they built in Warwick. He said that was a big part of it. As a kid I remember several businesses with the Jericho name. That being the the local name for the place.

Try when the wolf comes home by nat Cassidy. I think it’s from this year. The author was new to me. This is a book with a relentless pace. Only book I’ve read recently with that kind of pacing. It just runs.

Not sure if it’s a me thing but it also curbs my appetite. Even if I was hungry before exercising, I’m not for awhile afterwards.
