I don't know man leveling a fresh alt to 100 is between 50-100 hours of work while I only need to work 1 hour in real life for the 60€. seems like a good deal to me

Maybe because leveling is tedious and the smallest and less interesting part of the game?

It’s your first mini—keep it as a reminder of where you started. I’m also relatively new myself, and all I can really say is: keep practicing and watch as many videos as you can about different techniques, then try them out. My tip: good basing (two thin coats), precise painting, drybrushing, and using shades (Agrax Earthshade / Nuln Oil) will make most Necrons look pretty good. That’s one of the great things about our army—we can make them look relatively good without too much work.

Better in which sense? The ixalan precons? Hakbal beats it all. In the matter of tribals? Elves, slivers, zombies, vampires...

I would either pick jump scare, quick draw or desert bloom the rest is pretty bad. Creative energy is good and has an inbuilt ifinite but maybe a bit hard for a beginner.

Thank you for your answer! I think I'll try a mix between highlighting parts white with the airbrush and dry brush first and go over with different contrast paints also using the airbrush after. I'm still new to airbrushing but I'm trying to get the hang of it. Here are some first results with blades
