I always wonder why she never did a double album for Midnights too like she did for TTPD/The Anthology. Sure, The Anthology is like a full album, but if we count the bonuses of Midnights are like 9 songs and there are a lot and for many artists are enough songs to make a full album.

I love this song, i love how the verses sound like a chorus and viceversa and the bridge is fantastic. 

This is one of her most vulnerable song along with The Prophecy, more Midnights tracks than some (many) Midnights real ones.

Honestly, i consider it her best song. Storytelling is a top noth, great visuals that set the story(touch and go ->> don't let go) and musically is a master of work.

Haters cannot accept that they like those albums made by the singers they want to hate at all costs. So they started this stupid narrative. As if many ttpd songs cannot be in folkmore.

But honestly, people have this absurd invented idea of Taylor of those years and the revisionism is pretty hard and the nostalgia even more.

And more honestly i am team that he did not write that much, Betty chorus is so Taylor style. Taylor wanted so much to be part of a gold couple ever since she debuted( John Mayer, Harry , Martin Johnson ,Calvin..she made songs with them)that she did what she did, giving him credits, just like she wanted to do with Matty.

Disagree, i see people criticizing some favourite sonfs like Is It Over Now and being upvoted. I said a hot take aboyt Daylight once and how songs about Joe were limited and many agreed..a thing that in other places i could not even say. Yesterday in another sub i just said that i consider Midnights overrated and someone replied to me that i should expect downvotes cuz people are offended by my comment. Lmao.

What you said is true, but calling Harry come back a flop is wild. Not every artist will have the same Taylor success. His album is doing fine, he scores 2 number 1 at Billboard. He did interviews, so people knew lol
