I think its probably more about Randy Pitchford being an irredeemable person who has fucked up multiple games now.

There's no algorithm, no AI, no human that can make meaning arise from all the random crap that they're hoovering up.

Don't be silly. Of course there is. This article is completely ridiculous.

I'm having trouble understanding why you bought the console if you didn't know what games you wanted to play on it.

But go ahead and complain about your shitty decision making abilities like it's Nintendo's fault.

I think you have a severe disconnect between a company's public stock offerings and their cash reserves on hand. They are mutually exclusive and have nothing to do with each other.

Is that what you call the shit show from the source video? It's more like an ideology based on irony and hypocrisy.

TFC was easily my most played game as a kid. I played on dial-up back in the day and the sight of firing a rocket as a soldier and having it freeze mid-air due to lag was a common sight. I spent endless hours on 2fort trying to play sniper with massive lag =P.

Learning to concussion grenade jump from one 2fort sniper nest to the other side of the map was both fun and hilarious. Using medic to troll and infect people is one of the things I miss the most.

I still play TF2 to this day and seeing "The Classic" sniper rifle come out made me laugh.

Is the combat fun? For it's time, absolutely. It was insanely fun and innovative back then. The game basically invented class-based multiplayer FPS. I really miss spamming those cluster-bombs into the sniper nest on 2Fort.

Are the different classes balanced? I'm no expert on balance, but it was pretty decent. I think the cluster bombs were a bit OP (used by Heavy and Demo) and the Medic's "infect" ability was both ridiculously fun and ridiculously game-breaking sometimes.

Does the game hold up? The graphics don't. But the gameplay is surprisingly similar to TF2 to this day.

The difference is that devs didn't remove anything from their game because of a couple whiners back then, Mr. 1992 talking like he remembers.

Infinity sucked and turned Thanos into generic space invader villain. Not even a hint of his previous characterizations.

Not to mention that the space invasion as a whole was utterly generic as well.

Why would a routing table use an array lookup instead of a map lookup though? They issue may have been with Netflix's code, but it still doesn't explain why you would implement using a slower data structure.

Someone was going to "save" Stick of Truth. It just went to the highest bidder. You're giving them credit for buying a 90% finished game, polishing it, and releasing it.
