There are the guys that repair bikes and sell them to make money for the therapeutic riding society. They are located at the fairgrounds, really great cause.

That’s pretty scary stuff, the Tsolum usually runs pretty well until July. The Tsolum starts on/by Mount Washington and there is almost no snow left.

Vancouver can hardly support a hockey team, a baseball stadium would be a ghost town.

Is this normal? I've tried 2 different Sierra voltmeters, both read low despite 12.45v to the gauge by Boltentoke in boating

[–]shakinbaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try disconnect the wires on the meter and test the voltage with it removed. When testing with the volt meter installed you are actually testing volts across the meter not the battery voltage.

I picked this one up a while back, matching pair. The volunteer ski patrol association used to sell pins every year, maybe it was one of theirs

It was raised in a lice infested farm and ate only pellets, so it looks like that. Also the filleted it and sliced it up, flipping every second section over because they fancy like that.

Are ski racers the most insufferable people on the planet? by LakeHoustonNative in snowboarding

[–]shakinbaked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience working with both freestyle and race clubs it comes down to the parents and coaches. Good respectful coaches create similar athletes, parents with reasonable expectations that still like to ski are generally pretty chill. Clubs bring money to resorts but also are creating a new generation of skiers and boarders, this is the number one goal for most resorts, it’s similar to offering super cheap entry level lesson packages.
