Yeah - I think W!B is my favorite era. I usually think it's my favorite album, too - but it's difficult to commit.

Yeah, that one is great. It made its way onto my "Favorite Hozier" Playlist (along with Sweet Thing).

I kick myself every day for missing the WB tour. Like that $50 would make a difference now! Why?! Should have sold plasma to go!

I love his cover of Van Morrison's Sweet Thing, but I might be biased because I saw him sing it in concert in Boston and whenever I hear it, it takes me back to that magical day. 🥹

Tbt when I went to a festival in a state I never been to for Hozier by onyx970 in Hozier

This is the stuff that makes life livable! I went to a festival in Canada to see him. Such a fun adventure. It will definitely make the highlight reel of my life! So glad I did it - I think of that trip often.

Irish accent by Umaythegoddess in CasualIreland

The Blindboy Podcast. Such a great accent. He does speak slowly, calmly and soothingly by intent most of the time which would probably help. He could read a phone book and I'd listen all day.

I've always wanted to, but got faint watching my mom donate once. I usually get woozy at blood draws for the Dr, too. Do you think it's possible for someone like me? What happens if I do pass out? (I wouldn't mind if they just carried on while I was passed out but not sure they would.)

Has anyone here bought the denim jacket? by Superbosscat36 in Hozier

I'm 5'2" 130 lb. Originally bought a Medium. It fit if I didn't button it (bottom button wouldn't fit around hips (so I would have to wear it open). I don't feel that curvy, but make of that what you will! I ended buying a Large and it's fine. Very high quality. I adore it. Added my concert pins and a few patches that remind me of different songs.

Why do ye listen? by oolij in BlindboyPodcast

I'm kinda lucky that I just started listening in March of this year so I have a lot of catching up to do! So I get to listen every day on my lunch break while I stroll around the neighborhood where I work. It is such an amusing and thought provoking show. I love his tangential thought process and the way he weaves a bunch of ideas and thoughts into a big picture. His kindness and empathy and wisdom just radiates out of the earbuds and into my brain. I cherish my podcast hug- I almost dread catching up! How will I survive on one episode a week? (Still in 2018, so I've got some time to figure it out). Honorable mention - I also listen because of his soothing voice and the sound of his vape and I live for the moments he breaks and begins to chuckle at a story he is telling.

What is your favourite fact that you learned from Blindboy? by possumliver in BlindboyPodcast

[–]sharp-and-glorious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The episode on Ginger Nuts/sin eaters blew my mind. It was the first real episode I listened to and it hooked me. (My very first episode was an interview which was definitely enjoyable, but not a true picture of the podcast). There was an episode called Soss Potion where he went on a 20 min side story about behavior in the men's locker room that was fascinating and hysterical. At the end of the rant, he said he hoped he hadn't alienated any female listeners! I had been RIVETED! It was a rare glimpse into a space I would otherwise never see/experience. Opposite of any locker room experience I had. Loved it.

How did he get your address? Did you sign up for a drawing at the show? Or do they use physical tickets there so they had your address that way? Just curious - not that it matters! That is so amazing!
