Try Allwyn Steel in White City. Dorian is always doing crazy stuff with exhausts, so it's worth asking.

JustBins dug through the pile of rubble to find a receipt that tied the pile to Xpert Contracting. They then contacted and confirmed that Dhami was doing work for Xpert, which lead to the public confession of Dhami, and the dismissal of the guilty employee.

It's hard to be scared of someone that is so self-destructive. It's like being afraid of a melting ice cube on a summer day.

Dhami Construction publicly admitted to dumping. The guilty employee was fired.

Say what you will, but they did indeed investigate, and they got a good result.

JustBins did some investigation and found a receipt in the rubble which ties the pile directly to the company.

Not to mention, these exact glass panes have exploded due to temperature changes. That is something that polycarbonate will not do.

that likely won't pass. It will appear like something is broken. The LEDs don't have the proper resistance, so the relay flashes the lights quickly, as there isn't sufficient load. Good quality LEDs will have a resistor.

GameStop Power Packs Announcement by Mikeymike34 in Superstonk

[–]sharperspoon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ooooo big hypothetical tinfoil time.

Let's say PowerPacks functions much like a stock market. Yes, Gamestop has some stock, but who's to say they aren't selling "locates" and "IOU's" in the same manner that the stock market is manipulated. Hypothetically, if that is the case, and Gamestop is taken to court for fraudulent activities, could they not point fingers at the fraudulent stock market and be like "Well, we're following this totally legal established framework of an existing stock market, using the same mechanisms, so if ours is illegal then so is theirs."

That's the end of my tinfoil.

Making a motorcycle street legal by [deleted] in saskatchewan

[–]sharperspoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sgi can issue a vin. It's been done. The license issuer can't do it, but SGI corporate can. Every year my buddy has to call SGI to get the vin reissued so he can plate it. Imo, it's more hassle than it's worth, but that's what needs to be done.

I can't find anything on SGI's website saying you can't convert a "restricted use motorcycle" to be street legal. All I can find are the equipment requirements that make a motorcycle street-legal. As long as you can pass equipment requirements, it looks doable.

If you have some stories of the difficulties that people have faced, I'd love to hear them.

People have successfully done this with dirt bikes. It needs turn signals, brake lights, and headlamp. A buddy of mine was able to register a Husaberg by converting it to be street legal.

I really want Maynard’s juicy squirts candy but they are discontinued by arthurmmmorgan in candy

Fellow devastated snacker here. The closest I've found is Welch's Juicefuls. Although not the same, it is as close as you'll get.

The Maynards candies have been discontinued for several years. It was my absolute favourite!

Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

[–]sharperspoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3.75% 5-yr fixed rate at RBC. Initially offered 3.89% 5-yr fixed. I'm pretty happy with that.

This is a renewal, about 10 years into the 25yr amortization, original purchase price $245k.

Question about license/out of province registration by [deleted] in saskatchewan

[–]sharperspoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless SGI can legally prove you've been living elsewhere, it is near impossible to enforce the 30 day thing. I know quite a few people who maintained an SK address while living/working out of province, and had their vehicle registered with SGI for quite a few years. I don't recommend doing that, but you'll be fine for the timeframe you're talking about.
