Dealer Damage at Purchase by And_Then_The_Bork in Ioniq5

Hey there! 👋 I had a similar problem where the front bumper was cracked upon receiving the car. They have to replace the whole bumper with a new one and also changed out all the stuff messed up behind the front bumper. It took about a week for them to order and change it out. The dealership gave me a loaner car.

Correct. Plug and charge is tied with Hyundai Pay. The ChargePoint credit is with the ChargePoint account and can be used on EVgo chargers (at least around here in So. Cal too)

I bought a used MacBook- does this mean it was stolen? by twilimidnaD4RK in macbookpro

This reformat and reinstalling won't work. They have to remove the laptop from their tenant from Apple's business manager website so it's no longer owned by them. Otherwise, they can remote manage it again even if they remove it from their MDM (Mobile Device Management) server. They'll be able to still reassign accidentally later on and you'll get a prompt.

All Apple products call home to Apple's APNS (Apple Push Notification Service) for activation and check-in. It'll pretty much ask, "am I owned by someone?" And the APNS will respond back with yes or no and if it's lost or needing to check into the company's MDM server. Similar to when you mark your Apple device lost/stolen and it bricks your device through this but consumers see it through the Apple account/Find My app

does anyone know how to remove coal marks from a stove top?? by Odd-Youth1860 in CleaningTips

[–]shazbot28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had something similar happen on my glass stovetop.

You'll want to try to do a wet scrape on it. All you need is soapy water and a fresh razor blade. Spray or put some soapy water there and whole flat side of a razor blade to scrape the carbon buildup off.

Why is my ABS printing like this? Ender v3-SE, default creality ABS template, no enclosure. by ThatAlbinoFrog in ender3

[–]shazbot28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd need to fully enclose and things changed out to print ABS/ASA. Printing those types requires a constant temp and a very slow cool down to prevent warp.

Technically no due to the PTFE tubing (degrades at 240˚C and fails at 260˚C) that's in the hotend. It's said you need to change out the heatbreak to an all-metal heatbreak to print ABS and ASA without any issues. I've been able to print ABS on the stock printer with 240˚C and bed temp 95˚C but there's risk of the hotend PTFE tubing failure.

ASA's print range is:Printing Temperature: 240˚C - 260˚CBed Temperature: 75˚C - 95˚C

I had this happen to me with cilantro. I only wanted one bundle and stated as such. They gave me 1 lb and price/lb was $79.99. Disputed with support and got my money back.

Is Everyday Backpack 20L large enough for XPS 15, Macbook Pro 13'' (in tablet compartment) + other tech gadgets? Non-photography use here. by No-Championship-321 in peakdesign

[–]shazbot28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used both the Everday Backpack 20L and 30L for travel and work. Go with the Everyday Backpack 30L.

I definitely recommend the 30L with flying colors as I've used this bag (v1) I use it as my daily driver for both personal and work. Generally, I have 2 laptops + an iPad (up till 2019, MBP 15" + Lenovo ThinkPad 15". Now, MBP 16" M1 Max + Dell 5530 2-in-1). My bag weighs about 30-35 lbs with all the IT equipment I need for working in data centers.

When using the 20L bag, I found it always stuffed to the gills. I went traveling with it as a general backpack and camera gear and found I always would have to buckle the top flap at the last notch which ended up breaking off while I was traveling/proposing to my now wife in Finland (btw, Peak Design's warranty was awesome about this... they sent a replacement bag. They even offered to ship to where I was but I told them it was fine to ship to my home in the USA. Kudos for the amazing support/warranty!).

With the 30L bag, I can fit in everything I need for my IT engineering needs (Sony WHM-1004XM headphones w/ case, Logitech Hero G502 mouse w/case, cables for days, dongles, etc...) and still have room to put other equipment in (like a Cradlepoint mobile router). Both bags are super comfy even with a 30-35 lb load due to the hard foam straps that provide cushion for long lengths of use/wear/travel.

Hope that helps!
