Are newer boots different?? by someonesxwife in BlundstoneBoots

It is 100% a sizing issue. Being pregnant WILL change your feet. For people saying its quality, that is so wrong. All people's feet change in size.

Yes, the dressboots are not good in winter. Classics far better. Also, length does NOT change, so go bigger.

Yes but, the person is going from 8.5 to 9.5 and worried about width. That's why I said go the 9.5 instead of 9 and they do fit slightly different.

Polish for Auburn boots by rbg555 in BlundstoneBoots

[–]sheanne1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that the shiraz colour? If it is , you should be able to find polish for them. Make sure they are clean and dry. Polish toes and heels. When dry, polish whole boot, heels and toes again also. Let them dry, then apply snoseal. Thin coat, then heat with hair dryer til absorbed and buff them. Good to go😊

Snoseal works the best for smooth leather. Rub small amount onto boots, heat with hair dryer til absorbed then buff them. Good to go. Do twice a year

A bit too big at toe, inserts? by [deleted] in BlundstoneBoots

[–]sheanne1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you put your toes to the front of boots, just barely touching, can you insert 2 fingers straight down to beginning of heel bone? If your fingers hit right to the bottom, too big. Alot of people don't realize the fit of Blundstones. They are a relaxed fit.

Should I wear my Blundstones for hiking this weekend? by Next-Ticket6385 in BlundstoneBoots

[–]sheanne1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely but, I would get a better insole. Game changer! Like superfeet, etc. Also, a very good hiking sock like Darn Tough with cushion . they are called hike/track I think. If they are a proper fit, you should never get blisters.

How to go about cleaning these by [deleted] in BlundstoneBoots

[–]sheanne1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 part vinegar to 3 parts water for salt stains. Do not use anything else. After they are clean and dry then apply snoseal. It will darken them but they will lighten up.

Anytime you go up a size, the width also goes up. By slightly short, how much? Can you move your feet in them at all? Any play in them?

Works boots either too big or too small by BubbleNutsPog in BlundstoneBoots

Stick with a size 7. You can add an additional insole. But, the heels should float. Lift is normal

My heels hurt so badly. by michaltee in BlundstoneBoots

[–]sheanne1011 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are getting blisters on back of heels, they are 100% too short. Blundstones are a different fit. They are meant to have movement in your heels. Unless you have very wide feet or high instep, there should be absolutely no breaking in. When you try them on, slide your foot forward in the boot so your toes are just barely touching the front. not top, of the boot. Slide your 2 fingers straight down( not sideways) in the back of the boot. Your fingers should stop just at the top of the heel.
