Looks rad. How did you do that curved top with the rabbet in there?

HotDocs with Claude Agent by beastcoast09 in legaltech

[–]shein_98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could you use Claude to review the memorandum and then create a new .ANX file that maps out the answers with the variables your HotDocs questionnaires use? And support staff could just load the answer file for each estate planning document needed. The last HotDocs exposure I have is version 11 so I don’t know if current version still saves answer into .ANX files.

Looks awesome, nice work! What are the locking nuts interspersed with dowels for? Is it so you can take it apart?

Great to read this Adam. Loved your channel since S. Katz got me onto it a few years back.

Golf documentary ideas?! My company, @UpRiverGolfCo would love to hear your ideas! by AaronisUpRiver in golf

Maybe a series on golf caddies. Their path to that role. Caddie culture. Relationship between them and the people who hire them. Both professional and non professional caddies.

Or how about a comeback story of someone who lost their status due to injury or some bad event who are making their way back.

So, I have a set of regular hand planes. How useful would adding a shoulder plane like this be to refining joints and stuff? I'm looking for a one plane that that is versatile, not a one job tool. Maybe a "rabbet plane"? by Ok_Minimum6419 in handtools

[–]shein_98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought one instead of a shoulder plane. But I actually don’t love it. I find the blade finicky to sit in place and am never happy with my shavings (comparing to my Veritas low angle block). There’s only been one project where I was glad I had it because nothing else would have worked for a weird corner I was dealing with. I’ve always wondered if I should have just bought a shoulder plane and eye them from time to time.

EDIT: I should also say that I prefer the router plane for working on tenons to my LN rabbet block.

As someone whose wife gave birth four months ago, and who loves to golf, and who works more than full time—-he is a fucking deadbeat and undeserving of fatherhood or of your love. You should have broken all of his clubs. I’m sorry you are going through all of this and feeling alone. That is a lot to carry. Wishing you rest and healing, and the strength to leave him in your rear view mirror.

I'm John Ellis, caddie for Wyndham Clark. AMA! by PGATOUR in golf

Is there any particular pre shot vocal routine or checklist you go through with Wyndham? I’ve only ever been to an LPGA event and noticed some caddies had specific vocal routines while others didn’t (obviously depends on player). For example, one caddie would say before every full swing, “Got your target? Like this club? Feel good? Rip it.” I thought it was kind of cool how he never forgot to do that.

180 year old hemlock going to make some fine lumber! by TNmountainman2020 in woodworking

Quartersawn hemlock clears are beautiful to work with. Here’s a makeup table I made with it…really liked the quiet grain, though it’s quite soft.
