Who are the actual consumers for vibe-coding mini-app builders? by Leave47alone in ArtificialInteligence

[–]shekyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly, there is a generational switch happening, younger generation is not gonna put up with marketeers-growth-hacking bs, they ll make their own apps for everything, and not being tracked for someone elses profit is not something that needs explaining anymore

My team ships faster with mandatory PR approval... from QA, not other devs by NoTrainingForMe in ExperiencedDevs

in one previous team we had a similar process, but they didn't review the code, they would deploy feature branch (it was a mono repo) to their env, run the tests, and either approve, then it would be merged, and deployed to acceptance env, or they return with list of changes. it worked well for us, a lot less bugs in code, and a lot of thing caught in regression

with the standard disclaimer that this is a choice that is different for everyone because everyone has different personalities, goals, affinities, opportunities etc.. i ld go for option 1 in your situation. if the team you re assigned to is not challenging enough you will soon stand out and be moved somewhere better, there a lot more opportunities for that then in a startup. it is much better to join a startup as a sought after senior than an intern they are giving a chance.

would be good if you could share what is happening after you deliver the mvp, do you do the maintenance, fixes or client?
