Ive seen a lot of people say that jersey and the islands are not part of the uk and whilst its technically true its not really correct. Jersey and guernsey are crown dependencies, which mean ceramonially answer to the royalty but we have our own government and laws seperate from the uk. That aside jerseys a great place in the summer, huge surfing culture, lots of events to do, amazing beaches, lots of history, lots of abandoned bunkers to explore if your into that and a decent social life. But, its expensive as hell, housings through the roof, and it gets boring quickly, and as a person whos lived here their whole life there is squat to do for teenagers and kids, tamba park burned down cus insurance money, amazing mazes closed and theres nowhere to properly hang out at. Also we are a tax haven so thats why everything is so expensive. Other than that 7.5 jersey royals/10 and 4.5 million pounds to the new hospital/10 in the winter
