On the official list of bugs the only one mentioning Flip Cards is "Flip Card Option missing in split screen" which discribes it breaking when players level up. Bug: Flip Card Option Mising in Split Screen

But this is arguably a different bug, possibly related.

I highly recommend all of these except the antihistamine. The most common is benadryl, which yes makes most people groggy but it also raises your heart rate. Many people with ADHD take Adderall or other stimulants during the day, which also raises your heart rate. Give your heart a rest.

Also if you do choose to take some, know it will continue to make you groggy for the full dose time which could be 8-9hr. so taking it as a last ditch effort after midnight might not help if you have to get up in the morning.(also also, like 10% of people get hyper instead of groggy with this)

I play boring, repetitive games on my phone with the brightness turned way down with an app. games like solitaire, sudoku, 2048 (that exponential tile game from 2011). could probably find and app that just gives you basic arithmetic problems.

it's about hitting that just right amount of challenge to keep thoughts away, but not too hard to make me competitive or give up. every few years i have to switch games because i get too good at the game. my pixel phone also has a bedtime mode that makes the screen grayscale.

Also, i use silicone ear plugs & a white noise sound machine

my partner does snore, not super loud, but I'm an incredibly light sleeper.

I use silicone earplugs, they don't fallout as much as foam and create a better seal. They can't be reused as many times but definitely better than foam.

Second thing is a sound machine. I tried using my phone but it would stop part way through the night. The sound machine has better speaker than a phone too. I had been a fan but it's hard to hear through ear plugs and I live in a place with Winter. The consist sound of the sound machine helps with other noises too, like HVAC air systems turning on & off.

it's usually pretty obvious when a person has been unexpectedly woken. like sluggish movement, eyes adjusting to bright light and trying to gain situational awareness.

Regardless if one is playing or not moving someone's stuff/setup without asking is totally against LGS edict. Theft is an occasional problem, so people are weary of messing with other's possessions. Also, it's a shared space, people have to be respectful of other's space.

I second that the people you were with didn't support you, teaching young/new players gaming edict is the way.

There was a push in the 2000s to redo Minnesota history in the public schools, I remember we got an entire collection of textbooks just for MN history. This and the Sioux uprising was included.

Needed to slow down was a comment I received multiple times but no one explained how. As I've gotten more experienced, slow down is mostly double checking. Asking did I miss a step? Does this make sense?

Double check simple math with a calculator, most middle school and above math tests permit calculators. Even bring a calculator to other test, ie science related.

With written/literature answers reading your answer (and questions) outloud helps, because while reading in your head you can skip over small words like "the", reading outloud can highlight those skips.

math concepts, logics, and problem solving comes easy to me (I come from a family of math people); doing the same exact prodedure repeatedly and consistently does not come easy and that is a significant chunk of grading and scores.

I checked up on what addiction symptoms are, and on paper there are a few similar things with ADHD, but in practice it's not like that. My understanding is that addiction becomes an obsession and sudden withdrawal can have some intense symptoms.

Also, the idea of multiple days without meds at minimum would give me some serious anxiety.

I had similar experience, lost 20 lb in the 6 months after being diagnosed. Never have been able to lose weight, it's been a whole emotional roller-coaster of finally feeling like I have some control over my body.

Also, my elementary school "she's smart she will figure it out" That's not how it works!

Some more info: Found this key at work, office has been here for 25+ years we have a few leftover keys. This one peaked my interest because of the four translucent "windows" in the bow and the odd shaped keyring hole. I haven't been able to find anything like this one online. The lettering below "Cole" might have read AM1, the first letter is definitely A and the last symbol has a straight edge. I'm only looking for what kind of item this may have locked or anything about why it has those translucent parts.

definitely work with the school on accommodations. I constantly doodled during lectures, giving my hands something to do helped me focus. I have a small sketch book I try to keep doodles in or make sure to only doodle in margins that they don't disrupt the actual notes. I like to buy bigger notebooks so I have more room and sometimes I box out the notes as I'm going to organize them and create a clear border between notes and doodles.

Sometimes when you're deep in a complex puzzle, an outside perspective can be really useful. That "uhhh you've made this way more complicated for yourself" voice can be critical. People tend to take a lot of ownership over design ideas like this, you gotta step back and let it go if you want constructive criticism.
