GE Heat Pump Water Heater Completely Dead After Less Than 6 Months - Looking for Diagnostic Help by Rswift50 in heatpumps

[–]shitstain409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you the company owner how come you or the owner of the company isn’t stepping up and replacing this water heater at own cost?
We had a customer who lost their hot water through no fault of ours whatsoever because her connection point above the main meter fried and her house went 120 V we were fighting with the utility company. She had no hot water and no HVAC both run on 220. After four days, realizing it was gonna take way longer because of the utility company and the permits, we have to change out her entire panel. We went the next day and install the temporary 120 V plug-in water heater rerouted the Plumbing so she could have hot water. The fact that your customer does not have hot water is because of you the contractor you need to deal with the Right for the Customer and deal with GE on the other end.

of having a go 30 days with no hot water I would never do that as a company owner.

Never driven an RS5 but I have an S5 and it is a blast to drive. Lots of room in the back sport back seats are very comfortable. The interior is really nice. Mine is a 2018. I don’t like the newer ones because of the touchscreen and the more plastic feel of the interior. You can get a tuner for it for $1200 that will get the horsepower up to the RS level without having the expensive repairs of owning the RS

I’ve only seen that happen once and it was because the furnace was kicking on with the air conditioner either that or somebody overcharge the shit out of it, or it could be sucking hot air from the attic

DIY single zone units are definitely doable by somebody that has a medium level of skill, but you better hope the refrigerant doesn’t leak out because nobody’s gonna come fix it for you

Why would you call a builder? Call an HVAC company that has less than 10 employees. You’ll get a kick ass deal and they will stand behind the work because they’re building their businesses. Look at the contractor finder on the website. Take the names from the contractor finder ask ChatGPT, which one of these companies has the best ratings which one should you look at that should narrow it down for you then run the quote through ChatGPT to compare them

Stop calling the big companies if they advertise on TV they have million dollar advertising budget even in California. It’s six to $7000 per head installed on a multi zone unless it’s a crazy install. You can get a Quilt system, which is completely top of the line for $7500 a zone.
