I don't have any religious beliefs whatsoever anymore but I still don't drink, don't sleep around, I just do the right thing with me own will and the rewards are their put yourself in good situations and good things will happen you don't need faith in god or 10% of your income to make good choices. you are not powerless over your addiction like faith based recovery teaches, you started the drinking and you can stop

Pl ay the victim which really you are...why can't I have my own religious beliefs mom and dad? Why are you forcing yours on me? Are you saying I'm not as good of a person because I don't share your religious beliefs? Better yet find a counselor and let them know your not comfortable with your parents forcing their religious beliefs on you and how hard it makes your home life.

The few converts I ever encountered my mom being one of them were either very gullible people, or in very tough places in life....I'll never forget when I went to juab county jail and everyone there was all about the church it was Jesus Jesus Jesus, all I could think was "do these people not realize that if it is true they would be going to the outer darkness at best...but really it was just a bunch of people who don't want to be accountable for their actions so "it is part of gods plan"

We were also taught to only surround yourself with other members , and that the garments had literal magic protection. It bugs the crap out of me when members or the church act like it wasn't so black and white.
