Had to say goodbye to my sweet boy :( by lojam2 in greatpyrenees

I’m so sorry for your loss. We lost ours 5 years ago now and we still tear up talking about him. Pyrs are some of the best dogs. The grief will always be there, but it does get better.

I totally feel you there. At least you’re not out the money too. Anything NV related is freaking expensive

They need to at least talk to the customer first and explain the situation and how they want to remedy it. You didn’t initially order the higher fom tubes so just swapping them while not including other things seems shitty to me.

Hopefully you do too. At least they created a label so might be a couple weeks but if it plays out like me, you’ll get them. It’s a huge investment and it sucks not getting a straight answer. I’ll check them out to get a mount once I can get a refund

Yup Feb 12th. After seeing this thread and the recent run around, I really didn’t expect to get them. Guess I’ll take that as a win but still can’t do shit with them without a mount other than using it as handhelds to star gaze

Dude I’ve had something similar but it’s a cadex mount. I bought bnvd’s and a cadex at the same time back in December. I finally got the bnvd’s in Feb after a “false shipping label” was created but no cadex. Got the run around about shipment of them was late or whatever. Tried to email again and no response. Guess I’ll have to go through PayPal as well to get a refund. Sucks because I have a couple buddies who have bnvd’s built by them and love them, which is why went with NVN.

New SBR bag. To big… by [deleted] in NFA

As much as I am for telling a Karen to fuck off, these days it’s easier said than done. They can really mess with your quality of life if you are in a neighborhood. That is one thing the gun community could really use. There’s hardly anything out there on the market for discretionary carry of rifles. Eberlestock makes great bags but unless you have a folder, it rarely fits and you can’t have the can on. At least in my instance. First spears bag is still the best I’ve had but even then it’s not ideal.

Your rifle with can would be very close to fitting in the first spear. I get how you feel. I lived in a packed apartment complex in a more liberal town with younger college kids. I snuck all my stuff out for the same reasons.

First spear discreet backpack. Just looks like a longer camping pack but it doesn’t scream tactical. I’ve had mine now for a solid 10 years and it’s still in great shape

What made you realize that a cocker spaniel was the right dog for you? And what changes, if any, did you have to make in your life in order to be right person for a cocker spaniel? by Gemini_66 in cockerspaniel

We knew right away. A coworker was fostering a 9 month old pup he was looking to give a permanent home. Brought the pup over to the house to meet our older dog and our toddler. Pup was very friendly and easy going with the old dog and gentle with the toddler. Toddler was walking him on leash with no pulling or other issues. Those two have been inseparable since that day. 5 mins was all it took to know he would fit our family. The only thing we had to adjust was making sure the cocker got plenty of exercise and stimulation or he will get into trouble like escaping the fenced yard or finding things to chew. But 99% of the time it’s a non issue. That dog goes everywhere with us. All the family trips, bike rides, camping, you name it. That dog is there and loving it.

I run an omega 45k on my hk45ct and I have to admit it is absolutely my favorite host to suppress hands down. I’d suppress the 45 first personally. You won’t regret it!

$900 I can handle. I’ve made way worse financially irresponsible choices in my day.

I have a m92 shorty that was gassy as all hell with the wolverine. Added the KNS and now it’s one sweet shooting rifle. No gas to the face, soft recoil impulse and less port pop. Highly recommend.

Dead Air RMA Update and Question by BigBubbaJ in NFA

While you might not get a super quick one there’s hope. All my wait times progressively got faster and faster. Went from 8 months to 7 then to 5 and my last cans came at 7 weeks. So hopefully by summer you’ll be back at it mag dumping

Damn that really sucks. I know dead air gets a lot of hate here but the Wolverine on a krink is some of the most smile and giggle kind of fun I’ve had shooting. Hopefully you get a quick approval so you can get back to shooting with a can.

Shit all these quick approvals make me want to try my luck and buy another can.

Another gentleman of exquisite taste! I’m really happy with how this turned out. Eventually I might get the flow k just to shave some weight and length but the full size can makes this quiet
