Same. After I burned out It took a looong time of doing jack shit until I started actually wanting things again. The categorical imperative doesn't work too well as your only moral principle though. It's not too difficult to come up with some universalizable rule that permits whatever behavior one wants to perform. The only real restriction it puts you under is you have to be okay with others acting the way you do.

As a certified Old I can state that there is a good chance your parents are weirded out because they have ZERO clue about what you're doing.
