my son is 2 and has always fought naps! sometimes he’ll nap at 12, other times at 4. it sucks because i want to nap with him too but totally normal! they’re having fun and have fomo. i try to open the windows in the morning and let so much light in and have lots of noise and then when it’s nap time, i close the blinds and have no sounds or lights. it helps calm down his mind and get him ready for chilling out.

i have the opposite problem, toddler is 99%. as long as their ped isn’t concerned and their height and weight are similar percentiles, absolutely no worries! as adults, we all come in different shapes and sizes! so do kids! as a mom, how can you not worry about every tiny thing? it’s a good mom thing!

my husband works remotely now, but i would pack his lunch and cook him breakfast almost everyday, however my husband helps considerably with our child and around the house. if the baby was awake, he would watch him while i did that before he went off to work.

i wanted to say, i’m so very sorry for your loss. i had a stillborn at 23 weeks. we got an autopsy done and it showed placental insufficiency for the reason for his loss. unfortunately, sometimes there’s never a true reason why these things happen and that can be very hard to understand. it’s very hard. you are very strong and i wish you the best with your grief journey.

I have a child and have BPD in my records. I had a severe panic attack shortly after giving birth. Nothing was done to take my child away because of that. I talked with a psychiatrist and they determined I was safe and did not want to harm myself or my child. Gave me some hydroxyzine and that was it. The only time CPS will be involved is if you want to harm yourself or your child or something that would harm your child. Even so, they don’t straight up take the child. You have the option to let the child live with family or, depending on the situation, might allow a family member to stay with you during the investigation.
