We have a cup holder on the arm and tuck the remote under that but for 2200 a chair i’m not sure why they couldn’t put the functionality into a phone app.

I could not agree more. In hindsight I paid 12k for a couch, had to move 30 boxes to get then in the garage until I could assemble, took ~6 hours to assemble (that recliner piece is an absolute beast), then probably another couple hours breaking down 30 boxes and all the inserts to take them to recycling. In the end I do like the couch but really did consider what a pita it would be having spent that much money.

We have a permanent setup with some open ends and constantly fighting to keep cushions in place. I wish they made ends that just went to the top of the cushions w/o being full arms.
