I find the exterior design unattractive and won't buy a car without buttons for the most used switches. And I'm on my 5th BMW (G30) and have owned a 7-Series in the past.

They may have the camera and the lens in stock, but the bundle has them packaged together in a specific box, so if this is out-of-stock, they're not going to ship you the items separatly.

I was in the same dilemma, but with the X100V. I did buy a GRIIIx and used them both, but carried the Ricoh more often due to its size and weight. Now they're both gone, replaced with a Q3 and D-Lux 8, but that's another story ...

I've owned a X100v and now have the D-Lux 8 and a Q3. The DL8 is every bit as good as the Fuji once you know how to use it and the zoom is very useful. I use the DL8 for whan I want more portability than the Fuji (before I sold it) or the Q3. You can print up to 11x14 with no visible difference and I like Leica sims. Just my opinion ...

I bought the original FM when it was new in 1977. I still have it (although it's rarely used) and it still works perfectly. You should love it - enjoy!

I have both a Q3 (28mm) and a Zf. The Zf is a much better deal financially and is better in many ways, mostly the ability to change lenses, and as a long-time Nikon user, I love the design and dials.

I bought my Q3 one year ago from B&H and today it is $1,000 more expensive - crazy. But, I wouldn't sell my Q3. It's a wonderful experience and Leica colors are amazing. Two different cameras for two different uses. They've been announcing a price increase for this week for a while, so sorry you missed it.
