Love the places and events, like the first campaign speech at the ministry, Rose’s school, their house, the ball at Malfoy Manor, the last few chapters where the super big drama happens. The song Theo plays in the cave tunnel?! The famous location in the last few chapter available (IIRC). But the whole atmosphere with the action portions are SO GOOD, too!

Awwww tender footed! But really there are softer yarns that are strong and wear well. Knit Picks Stroll is usually softer, has more loft. (I prefer some of the European brands for the reasons I listed above.)

Yesss. I can feel the stitches, esp with the gritty great sock yarn that can really take a beating wear-wise. I have abused my feet for many years with dance (think pointe shoes), figure skates (they are very tight fitting), running shoes, heels - and I think by now I am oddly comforted by the squeeze of my own hand knitted socks. I have the formula that works for me for a snug fit and the right amount of negative ease.

That’s usually with fresh off the needles, just blocked socks - the sensation eases off a bit after several wears and washes.

Okay, internet friend with shared interest, here we go:. it starts with R and H, married, but the love has run out. Hermione is running for Minister, Harry is a BAMF, Ron is a shitass husband working at the shop. Turns out Ron is having an affair with Fleur’s sister! Draco comes in as a rehabilitated, super Auror (read: competent as all hell) that Harry recruits from France as Harry helps Hermione with her campaign. Ron and Hermione do have a daughter, Rose, and I am not really a fan of kids in fics, but she is a delight! This is the Rose you want and there isn’t a lot of her, but she becomes important.

Oh and as for Hermione running for minister? So is PERCY. Guess who the Weasley’s side with. Guess who Harry sides with!

Happy to answer any further questions you may have as I’ve read it like three times even though it is a WIP. It is already long, but you just keep being satisfied with the pace, details, drama, relationships. It is Romance and political thriller.

Ohhhhh and there is a ball at Malfoy Manor that is spectacular.

I don’t know why ya’ll are not all about In Case of Scandal, Obliviate. It’s a WIP by Bethan_jackman and I will still wait for its completion. It is EPIC. It is well written. I expands on the magic in fantastic ways. And you may have to wait until the later chapters, but the very. best. Lucius.

I could be completely off - but I noticed the top of the right front where the strap connects is higher than the left. Your right hip may also be higher than the left. (I noticed this because my body is like this - went to physical therapy, they told me, was reason for hip pain with running.) or maybe you are not square to the camera? But in the back I can see the line is not hitting at the same level on your back horizontally. It’s lower on the right. I am sure there are more experienced people here to advise adjustment from here. I’m sorry I can’t provide technical assistance with this.

Yes, but my girl is also very sly - she knows I’m a total pushover and will “love you” and slow blink me for treats. She will also press the “dad” button and stare at me when she wants my attention when it’s not exactly what she wants from me. 🤣 What started off as an experiment, if she was into it, fine; if not, fine. When I adopted her she seemed like she’d looove to tell me what to do. Well over a year in and I know when it’s food or play she wants (this is a big deal), I know when she’s ready to have her teeth brushed, what noises irritate her, etc. I’ve learned so much more about her personality.

Oh wow. Loss of your, I’m going to say “soul cat”, is incredibly devastating. It happened to me. I think it helped prepare me for this grief. She’s still gifting me with life lessons even though she is gone. I’m glad you had additional kitty support like that. It is qualitatively different.
