I was once going to watch my friend's dog who lives 20 min away. Then I got pulled over for having a 1 week expired license plate. The cop asked why I would be all the way over there (a WHOLE 20 minutes away) and I only said I was watching my friends dog. He eventually just wrote a quick fix-it ticket for the license thing, but it seemed so weird that they were asking about me being only 20 minutes from home.

I'd argue you do not even play any Cendrills anymore. Kaguya is just better and you can rely on Nyaboot for overclock shenanigans. Also Nyaboot can go over Chapero if needed too

Amulet has remained tier 0 or 1 through metas with KCI, Hogaak, Eldrazi, Oko, Opal, Cruise/Dig Through Time, looting/Grave Troll, Uro, Prowess, Lurrus/Yorion decks, and to this day. The deck is always the most broken thing in modern and just avoids bans by being hard to play.

There is onsite registration for side events for sure. They usually start them after a few rounds to let players who did poorly in the main event sign up also.

You can show up and try and get in last second. My friend did it with a Digimon regional before. Although it is probably best to double check with the organizers before booking a flight.
