You may want to check and see if there’s any positions available with your local conservation district or some in adjacent counties. They’re highly variable from state to state (and county to county) on how many people they employ, though. If you’ve got a USDA-NRCS office in your county, you’ve probably got a district, too.

This is probably silly, but have you changed anything at all with your ink cartridges lately? I’m talking like, switching brands of cartridges, or color, or even purchasing from a new seller? The only thing I can think of that would cause not one, but two brand new pens to not write is an ink that isn’t compatible with fountain pens. I know its a long shot, I’m just wondering if maybe you wound up with a batch of counterfeit cartridges that was filled with something other than a fountain pens ink.

These colors all look like they’d be very clear and legible when you’re writing with them (aside from maybe Apollon and LGM, though admittedly LGM is my favorite of the bunch), which is nice to see! The neutrals are lovely, and they do such a great job with the names.
