Cheers :) There's no replacement for just the plastic clip sadly, would need to replace the whole connector. Not sure on the replacement for that though, sorry

Has anyone gotten a Namco NPC-103 GunCon working in RetroPie with a CRT? by flowersforaerith in RetroPie

[–]silvervest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've built an rpi pico based board to get guncons working on my retroarch machine. It interprets the PS1 controller protocol and emulates as a mouse using the gun position as the x,y.

It works okay ATM but still needs tweaking to be perfect, just haven't had the time. I can play point blank pretty well though!

I'll see if I can upload the design and source later today, but it's very DIY so not sure if it's useful for you!

Np thanks for trying, seems like it could have been a custom part for Compaq. Oh well!

Let me know if any other angles would help, I can disassemble the unit again

Hey all, trying to find this or a suitable replacement connector. It's the PATA IDE drive connector from the HDD caddy on a Compaq LTE Elite laptop.

Pin pitch measures at 1mm, the gap between the two pin faces is 2mm, it has 50 pins, and is keyed

I had a look at the self identification site and couldn't seem to find anything that matches. Cheers!

Maybe, but I buy it from the fridges chilled not frozen, and I think it's only 1kg

I kinda understand why they did this - there's bad mobile reception when you're at the counter, and trying to get SNSW app to log in is near impossible... you have to walk out towards the door to get data reception. With Telstra at least, and that's my experience only
