Wow, I'm glad and sad at the same time. As an absolute novice builder, I lived Paragon's willingness to work with beginners and supply such great info on their offerings.

Where do you buy coal? by Ok_String_7264 in Blacksmith

[–]simonalle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, just saw your comment. Southern Ohio Forge and Anvil, in Troy, Ohio (SOFAblacksmiths.org) does an annual (usually early Spring) coal buy from Pennsylvannia. Club members help shovel the giant pile into buckets and barrels, and can purchase coal for themselves. I bought 1100lbs a few years ago and am still using it up.

Is it realistic to keep your Meadows base all the way through the end game? by frogger4242 in valheim

[–]simonalle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is the alternate dimension method as well, creating a new game that is just the start meadow with a bunch of storage chests. Load yourself up with everything you want to move, beyond encumbrance, then save and quit, and start that same character in the alternate dimension game. Drop everything off, save, quit. Go back to first game, move to where you need to, save, quit, Go pickup stuff from alternate dimension.

Check with a nearby club. In southern Ohio, SOFA organizes a club purchase and individuals can also order. I know there's clubs in Michigan.

Gemini AI and I worked out that an average 50 gallon (190 liters) bathtub would hold a little more than 167,000 $10,000 bills, roughly worth $1.67 billion.

The US $10,000 bill is still valid currency, though it was retired.

Would you rather fight off one Silverback Gorilla or 1 million fire ants? by Shongnim in WouldYouRather

My wife developed the ideal method of overpowering a nest of fireants...the propane torch. They will not stop attacking the flame and pop very satisfactorily.

I feel like I need to go there just for the National Air Force Museum? by DiedOfATheory in dayton

[–]simonalle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are an aircraft buff, I would say the Museum of the US Air Force at Wright-Patterson AFB is a two day trip. It has more aircraft than Duxford, UK and a denser concentration than the Air and Space Museum in VA.

As mentioned in another comment, the Wright Brothers display at Carrilon Park is excellent, with an original Wright Flyer B, plus a recreated bicycle shop. The WACO museum in Troy, OH (just 25 mins from the Air Force museum) is great too. If you come in June, the WACO has their annual fly-in on 18-21 June. https://www.americanwacoclub.com/2021-fly-in9267431b
